Dream District is a photo and video studio in Detroit, run by me, Joey. Here's what I collect through thedreamdistrict.co and what I do with it. I don't sell your information.
What I collect
What you send me: your name, email, brand or Instagram handle, project details, and anything else you enter in a form, a booking or an email. Payments go through my payment provider, and I never see your full card number.
How you found me: if you arrive from one of my ads, a tag showing which ad is saved with your inquiry.
Basic site data: pages viewed, device, browser and general location, collected through cookies by Squarespace (which hosts the site) and the Meta Pixel.
Public business info: if you run a business, I may look up your public website, Instagram and business email to reach out about work. Ask me to stop and I will.
How I use it
To reply to you, send quotes, plan and deliver your shoot, keep business records, and see which ads bring in inquiries. A few trusted services help me run the site, email, bookings and records, and they only get what they need to do that. A member of my team may help with your inquiry.
Meta Pixel
My site uses Meta Pixel, which uses cookies to tell Meta (Facebook and Instagram) which pages you visit and whether you send an inquiry. I use it to measure my ads and show them to people likely to be interested. You can opt out through Ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings, or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Photos from your shoot
I may share work from your shoot in my portfolio and on social media, as agreed in your booking. If you're in something I've posted and want it removed, email me.
Your choices
Email me anytime to see, correct or delete your information, or to stop hearing from me. I'll respond within 30 days. I keep business records only as long as I need them, including for taxes.
