I direct the whole way. Where to stand, what to do with your shoulders, when to actually stop smiling for a second. If you've had a bad headshot before, it was probably someone who pointed a camera at you and waited.
Before you leave, we go through the shots together and you pick your favorites on the spot. You'll know it worked before you're back in your car.

We talk first
A quick call before anything gets paid for. LinkedIn reads differently than a casting site, and a yard sign reads differently than both, so I want to hear where these are going. Ten minutes, and you'll know what you're getting before you pay for anything.

We pick your looks
Bring two or three outfits. I'll send notes on color and fit beforehand, and we'll narrow it down when you get there.

We shoot
About an hour. I direct, you don't have to guess. We review as we go.

You pick, I deliver
Choose your two favorites with me on the spot. Retouched files back in five business days.
Retouching
No filters, no AI, no version of you that surprises somebody at the meeting.
Retouching here means skin looks like skin on a good day. A stray hair, a shirt wrinkle, a blemish that'll be gone next week.
I'm not reshaping your face, taking twenty pounds off you, or generating a person who doesn't exist. You're going to meet somebody who saw this photo first. It should be you.

Your questions, answered
What should I wear?
Bring two or three options. Solid colors and clothes that actually fit photograph well. Busy patterns fight your face for attention and usually win. I'll send you notes once you book.
Where do we shoot?
My studio, unless you want otherwise. Controlled light, clean background, no weather and no strangers walking through your frame. If you want something with more of the city in it, we can shoot on location for $150 more, and I'll pick the spot based on what you tell me the photos are for.
How much retouching?
Blemishes, stray hairs, uneven skin. You'll look like yourself on a good day. I'm not reshaping anyone's face and nobody's going to ask if you got work done.
What if I hate all of them?
Hasn't happened, but we're reviewing as we shoot for exactly that reason. If something isn't working we fix it while you're still standing there, which is the whole advantage of picking your images with me instead of getting a gallery link days later.
